Leave Nairobi and ride through the picturesque Rift Valley to visit traditional Maasai settlements. Gain insight into the Maasai way of
life before settling in for the night at a peaceful eco-lodge, immersed in the natural surroundings. This day offers a perfect mix of scenic
travel, cultural interaction, and relaxation in the heart of Kenya's dramatic landscapes.
We shall continue our adventurous ride from Kwenia, embracing the thrill of sand river riding—a unique off-road experience that challenges and excites. As we head south, our path will lead us towards the striking Oldonyo Orok Mountain, located near the Kenya-Tanzania border. This area is renowned for its picturesque landscapes and the opportunity to ride through diverse terrains, offering a blend of beauty and adventure as we navigate closer to this iconic mountain. It's a fantastic day for us to connect with nature and rev up our spirit of adventure against an awe-inspiring backdrop.
On Day 4, we'll shift our route and ride amidst the hills southeast towards Amboseli National Park, enjoying the magnificent views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The day promises breathtaking landscapes and thrilling close encounters with Africa's highest peak. We’ll cap off the day with an evening game drive in Amboseli, famous for its population of large tusked elephants. This combination of stunning scenery and wildlife viewing makes for an unforgettable day in the heart of Kenya.
Ride through the surrounding farmland near Amboseli, immersing ourselves in the tranquil, picturesque rural landscapes. We’ll take a break for lunch at Lake Chala, a beautiful volcanic crater lake that offers serenity and stunning views. After lunch, we'll continue our ride up to a beautiful hotel located at the top of a hill, where we'll spend the night. This hotel offers a panoramic views that includes Mt. Kilimanjaro, the Pare Mountains, and Lake Jipe. Ending our day here, we'll bask in the breathtaking scenery that surrounds us, reflecting on the day’s journey through diverse and inspiring landscapes from the comfort of your pool bed.
We will journey through Tsavo West National Park. The road is paved with smooth asphalt, allowing for a comfortable and scenic journey through this wildlife haven. Upon leaving Tsavo West and heading towards Taita Hills, the road transitions to off-road terrain as we ascend the hills. The Taita Hills captivate with their stunning beauty, rich biodiversity, and steeped history, offering a memorable blend of natural wonders and cultural significance.
Today offers a chance to further explore the Taita Hills, followed by a peaceful afternoon of rest; wildlife sightings near the water hole provide a unique opportunity to observe them from the swimming pool, adding a touch of nature's beauty to your relaxing break.
Ride along the lush sisal plantations and past the majestic Mt. Kasigau, where the terrain gradually transforms as we approach the coastal town of Ukunda, meandering through the Shimba Hills villages. This leg of the journey culminates at the stunning Diani Beach, where the motorcycle adventure concludes, offering a perfect blend of diverse landscapes and a refreshing seaside escape.
Enjoy a relaxing break at the pristine white sand beaches of Diani, indulging in the tropical beauty and tranquility of this coastal paradise during this well-deserved rest day, with the hotel offering a range of activities to further enrich your holiday experience.
